Pallet Rack Accessories

Pallet Racking is ideal for heavy duty long span shelving. Large expanses of shelving can be obtained for relatively small outlay making this type of shelving suitable for many applications.

Two styles of shelving are most popular – Wire Decking Panels and Particleboard Sheets.


MantaMesh WIRE MESH DECKING

Does not warp, twist or sag and is highly durable. Does not allow dust and dirt to build up. Quick and easy to install – no fixing or fastening. Increases lighting through shelves. Wire orientation allows product to move easily. Ideal for cool-rooms and freezers. Allows you to store smaller than normal pallets / skids. Wire Decking Panels have inbuilt welded support channels.

Particleboard Shelving

Particleboard shelving provides an economical alternative for light to medium duty long span shelving.

For light applications, the board can be used unsupported being held in place using Particleboard Retainer Clips.

For heavier applications, the use of MantaRayl Board Support Channels increases the carrying capacity of the board and locks the board into position.

Warehouse racking damage is a major occupational health and safety issue. Rack systems are not designed to be struck by forklifts. Low speed collisions can lead to structural damage that is not only costly to repair, but also places workers at risk.

Protect-It™ Column Protection devices are a new Australian innovation combining clever design, computer aided engineering and advanced thermoplastic materials to deliver a product that can absorb large impacts and easily attaches to columns without additional fasteners. The design consists of an outer wall that is integrally moulded to a series of curved ‘spring-like’ energy absorbers at the front and sides to provide two levels of protection for racking columns. Protect-It™ is injection moulded unlike its competitors who rely on rotational moulding. Injection moulding allows the use of much tougher plastics enabling a larger range of working environments from cold stores at -40°C to the harsh Australian outdoor sun. Taking just seconds to install by hand, Protect-It™ Rack Protection suits a wide variety of pallet racking.


Steel Column Guards

The use of heavy steel column guards for rack protection is a popular choice. It is often recommended to anchor the guards using chemical anchors to the concrete floor. This style of rack guard offers excellent protection to the rack foot and lower column when loading or unloading pallets at floor level. Guard stands approximately 300mm high.
