Brownbuilt shelving is built to last! There are many, many companies still using Brownbuilt steel shelving purchased back in the 1970’s and even 1960’s. In a few instances, the shelving has outlasted the founders of the company.
The basic shelf components of side panels, back panels and shelves make it easy to extend individual bays to make continuous ‘runs’ of bays as seen above. To further reduce cost, bays can be configured ‘back-to-back’ whereby they share a common back panel and side panels. This is one of the most popular methods of installing this style of shelving because of the cost savings made.
